Deposit:

A deposit of a 1/3 of your estimated proposal is due at time of booking, unless otherwise agreed upon. Final payment for your event is due 3 days prior to your event of all events $ 1,000.00 or above. Final payment  is due the day of the event for events $1,000.00 or less. Payment plans and options are available upon request.

Service charge:

18% service charge will be applied to the total on every event. At the clients discretion any additional gratuity will go directly to the service staff.

Guest count:

Please provide Palate Catering with an approximate guest count at the time of your proposal, and an accurate count 14 days prior to the date of your event. If the guest count of your event decreases after this 14 day grace period, the food cost per guest may increase, and we cannot guarantee a decrease In cost. If the guest count increases by more than 5%, we will do our very best to accommodate your needs, and will charge for each additional guest. 

Final adjustment to menu is due 5 days prior to your event date. Example of menu change, Substitutions, deletion of items, amount of items, ect... this gives PCC ample time to accommodate such requests. 

Seasonal adjustments:

Food prices are subject to the fluctuation of the market and seasonal availability. Menu Quotes hold firm for 60 days. After this period of time Palate Catering reserves the right to recalculate menu prices in accordance to said market fluctuations. If drastic change in an ingredient within your menu occurs you have two options.

1: A new cost  maintaining your present menu will be assessed based on current market prices and you may agree to the new price -OR-

2: Substitute menu item(s) will be presented in order for you to maintain the agreed upon per person menu price.

Cancelations:

Cancelation within 60 days notice will receive a refund to total half the amount of the deposit, and any pre-paid amounts, not to include any non-refundable special orders. Cancelations received less than 60 days prior will not receive a refund on the deposit, and will subject to accrued charges incurred such as food, labor cost, non-refundable items such as rentals and equipment if they so apply, and any other special orders. Cancelations made 30 days or less will be charged the full agreed amount to cover our time, resources, and the loss of potential clients and income from the release of your date.

Palate Catering company reserves the right to terminate the contract for any reason. If PCC terminates the contract over 30 days prior to your event date, all deposits and payments will be returned in full within 10 days. If PCC terminates this contract  within 30 days prior to your event date, all deposits and prepayments will be returned in full within 10 days as well as an additional $500.00 penalty

Leftovers:

You and your guests may package any leftovers that are deemed "safe" to be consumed via the strict quality standards of the FFT staff. You are responsible for providing an appropriate container to place in to if desired. If you do not have an appropriate container all food will be disposed of or taken back to our kitchen. Once in our kitchen we are no longer required to give you the left- overs. In accordance with Palate Catering codes, FFT reserves the right to discard any food items on site that or at our kitchen where there is a reasonable risk of food borne illness to occur. 

Contract:

Contracts will be presented and signed upon client meeting and agreement of final menu choice, equipment rental, and other necessary rental for completing said event. All contracts are binding and documented accordingly. If you so choose to terminate the contract you must do so within the given time period.

AGREEMENTS:

In the event that a client might not be able to come up with the required amount of the full contracted agreement, PCC may accommodate a payment plan. A separate contract will be provided and signed by both parties. Not all events are negotiable.
